ANZ is the fourth largest bank in the country the largest bank. As is common with most entities in the current market, there is a great shift toward online platforms in a bid to create ease of access for customers.
ANZ online and mobile platforms
This is no different for ANZ Bank. The bank offers banking services to its customers through online and mobile platforms, offering access to services that were previously can be used only through physical branches.
The bank’s online platform offers clients a self service hub, giving them visibility and access to their accounts from the comfort of their PCs, tablets and mobile phones.
Through the online banking, customers are able to access a wide array of the bank’s products, such as:
- check account balances
- view online statements
- payments and money transfers
- card activation
- updating of personal details.
To protect clients’ data, the platform offers various security measures to ensure utmost security at all times. For example:
- high-grade encryption
- a fraud detection system
- automatic time outs
- and SMS alerts.
How to apply
In order to access the online banking platform, clients will first need to be registered for ANZ Phone Banking. In the event a user doesn’t already have Phone Banking, they can call 13 33 50 (24hrs a day, 7 days a week) for support with registration. Once registered, the customer will need to go to www.anz.com site on their web browser and select ‘Register for ANZ Internet Banking’.
They will then need to follow the prompts to create a client’s registration number and password that will enable them to access their online account.
The bank also offers several mobile apps that allow their clients access to what products they need, when they need it.
The apps are available on both the App Store and Google Play. The main app, ANZ GOmoney, enables users to manage their money on the go by allowing them to:
- check their balances
- transfer money between linked accounts
- and make payments using just their mobile phone numbers.
