The National Australia Bank is a financial group that was founded in Australia in 1982. The bank currently has services cutting across Australia, New Zealand and other parts of the world, with a network of over 800 locations serving nearly 10 million clients.
The NAB bank online platform
The NAB bank has since developed an online banking system that allows both personal and business account holders access to various services that would have previously required them to visit a branch to access. This move allows customers to save on time as well as have access to their accounts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The products offered through the online banking platform include:
- local funds transfers, payment of bills to any location within the country
- scheduling of recurring payments and funds transfers in advance
- the ability to redraw funds from personal and home loans
- report stolen cards
- download and print their account statements
- and open new accounts.
The platform also sends users email alerts to ensure they never miss a payment. As a bonus, it offers 6 months of free security software from McAfee or Webroot.
In order to register for online banking, the user will need to already have a NAB bank account. They will then use their NAB ID number, and either their mobile phone number, NAB phone banking password or a temporary password which can be issued at any branch.
Mobile app
NAB also offers mobile banking which is available through the NAB mobile banking app. Mobile banking is fast and smart, allowing clients to literally have their bank in their pockets. The mobile platform allows users to do their online banking, including:
- funds transfers and payment of bills
- view their balances without logging in by using the quick view feature
- calculate loan repayments
- as well as locate nearby NAB branches or ATMs.
Aside from those services, the app also offers some great security features that work to keep the user’s account and money secure. One such options is the overseas travel feature which allows users who travel abroad to alert the bank of their travel and allow the bank to protect their accounts from fraud. Another great feature is the one touch access, whereby users can use their finger prints to access their accounts.
Any customer that has registered for online banking can access mobile banking by getting the app from the App Store or Google Play.
The user will then need to log in using the same login and password that they use for online banking. The app is compatible with Android OS 4.1 or higher, and iOS 9.0 or higher.
